Who is PNWSM?
Founded in 1991, Pacific NW Sales & Marketing, Inc. (PNWSM) primary function focused on the sales and marketing of consumer B to B and trade periodicals.
In 1996, PNW Publishing, Inc. (PNWP) was founded moving the company into custom publishing with such projects as Parr Lumber’s, “The Cutting Edge” magazine and the AGC’s/Building Congress, “Building Futures” magazine. In 1999 we started NW Builder – a regional trade publication that reached out to residential builders with Northwest driven editorial content and building material resources. As demand increased for more exposure into other states, our name was changed to BUILDERnews magazine in 2008 – a name that better reflected our national distribution and increased focus on the “Business of Building.”
After eleven years in publishing, Inc. 5000 recognized PNWP as being one of the, “Fastest growing privately held companies in the nation”, in addition to being ranked in the top 100 for, “Top Companies in Media.”
In addition to BUILDERnews magazine. PNWP went on to produce special 16-page sections on Mixed-Use/Multifamily development and in 2010, published one of the industry’s first, Green Guides which focused on the people and products working to maximize the efficiency in the buildings we live and work in.
